This is the story of Mr. Rahul Baviskar a Mechanical Engineer, innovator and emerging entrepreneur. When he was in the last semester of his engineering, he and his friend started one start up called “Swadeshi Handicrafts Private Limited”. It was very difficult for him to convince his parents to support him in this start-up as they always wanted him to be a successful engineer.

This ISO certified company sells pure handicrafts products to offline/online platforms and provides average earnings sources to artisans across India. They not only sell products, they promote the artist as well. Today this company secured “Top 7” position in “Global Students Entrepreneurship Awards in 2021. The formula to his success was following his own USP i.e. Unique, Smart and Passionate. He is indeed a start-up star!
