Shankar Mahadevan, A student of the Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology in Navi Mumbai, bagged a degree in computer science and software engineering in 1988. He also worked as a software engineer for Leading Edge.

But he chose to pursue his passion of singing over his degree and now he is known as an immensely talented singer in Bollywood.
