Inspired by his father and to pursue his all time passion, he started playing cricket at the age of 12. Five years of playing in domestic cricket matches, he turned to play for India.

Coming from a middle class family and performing very badly in the initial few matches, it was Rahul’s passion, dedication, motivation and enthusiasm that made him improve his game and got him an irreplaceable place in the world of international cricket. He is also know as “The wall” and is currently appointed as head coach for Indian Team.
